My name is Lucas Marincak, and I'm studying Linguistics and Psychology in university. As for what I'd be doing with this degree, well that's anybody's guess. Assuming my band and I don't get signed and sell millions, I rather fancy becoming a speech therapist/pathologist, or perhaps a counsellor of some sort. Again, we'll see.
As for the programs and utilities, I use WadAuthor v1.3 for all the wad making and ACS coding; Irfanview and Paintbrush for the artwork; WinTex 4.3 for editing the Hexen lumps and behaviours; and Cakewalk Home Studio 2002 and MIDI2MUS.exe for composing all the songs and converting them from the MIDI file to their MUS counterpart, respectively. |

My name is Chris Bloomfield, I was asked by Lucas if I could help him with some programming on his Hexen mod Dark Realms, I of cause being the ever-so-helpful young man that I am, agreed.
I do all my programming in MS Visual C++ v6.0, I use WinTex 4.3 for adding sprites to the wad files, and renaming them once they're there. Notepad is useful for editing config files for WadAuthor so Lucas is able to place any new enemies or items we may add. |

Hello, I’m Magno Scavone, also known as Mago, and I’ve been a 2d artist for quite a long time now, ever since I joined Korax Heritage team. I discovered Dark Realms from Lucas himself, and since then I’ve been admiring it’s genious. I study architecture on college, currently on the 3rd year – it’s an incredibly difficult, but also greatly rewarding field of activity. I’m also a big fan of anything sprite/2d related, as you may guess from my job on the team.
I (still) use my trusty Paint Shop Pro 4.15 for most of my pixel works, with an occasional help of Photoshop 5 for more refined filters. For texturing, you might want to check Texture Processor 1.3, or TexSynth, even though you can probably get quicker and safer results with PSP or PhotoShop’s pluggins designed for the creation of seamless tiles. Oh yes, also Wintex for adding all the pics to wad files. |
